KidsCommons in Columbus, IN Review

Spring break week called for a road trip! I’ve heard of the kids commons in Columbus but had yet to get there and check it out.

WORTH THE DRIVE!! It’s only about an hour to hour and half from our home. One building has a free playground with this awesome climbing thing all the way to the ceiling.

On the other side of the street is what they call the Kids Commons Museum. It’s three floors of kid driven activities and imaginative play. Ideally for ages 12 months to 12 possibly. My kids are just shy of 4 & 6. They loved everything about it.

One area is a pretend campground with picnic food, a garden to plant & water, and a tree to climb in. Such a cute area!

Two small areas by the campsite is a robotic arm and this ball rolling thing that entertained the boys for a LONG time.

We headed up to the second floor where there is a rock wall to climb, oversize house and bathroom, and bubble room.

The large toilet is a slide when you get flushed down. This was a favorite.

The top floor had a bunch of fitness and activities to get the kids moving. Basketball hoops, another food inspired kitchen/grocery and some kid size fitness equipment. It also included jump ropes, hulla hoops, just dance and some blocks for younger kids.

The main floor had also had a craft area with many types of media to use to make beautiful crafts and this awesome Japanese house with a kitchen, dinning room and dress up. It was super neat to see everything Japan inspired in this house.

My kids loved it and it was only $7 per person so we will def try to go back on a rainy day or to hot summer day to be in the sun.

Kidscommons.org is there website and if you live anywhere close to Columbus, Indiana I recommend you check it out.
